Winter really is a magical time of year - places that were so familiar in the other seasons take on a new appearance at the coming of the frost and snow. Whilst they may have shed their leaves, the trees still retain a beauty and splendour; laid bare now in the cool winter light.

This pack of 10 Christmas cards features some of our favourite photographs that we have taken at this special time of year. Each photograph has been taken by ourselves in and around the Northern Lake District and the Scottish Borders. The photographs feature native wildlife, local lanscapes and close-up plant photography, all looking their winter best!

Every card features a 4"x6" photograph which has been glittered by hand.
Each card is blank inside for your own message.
The pack contains 10 kraft paper envelopes.

"We all enjoy photography in the family, and we especially enjoy being able to get out into nature and practice those skills!

The photographs in this collection were all taken at one of my favourite, and rare times - a white Christmas and New Year.

Getting up close to see the deer, especially the Red Stag was a very special experience, as the animals were only metres away. The thick hawfrost on the tree branches made a familiar place (I would walk past them almost every day) seem very other-worldly!"
