This chunky beaded necklace is made with pearls and sunstone beads rosary linked on sterling silver wire. The pearls have a wonderful peachy tone and lustre which is picked up by the shimmering shade of the sunstone. The pearls are cultured fresh water pearls, this is their natural colour and they have an irregular shape (known in the industry as potato which really doesn't do the beauty of them any justice), they measure approx 10mm by 7mm but do vary. The necklace measures 18 inches and comes in a gift box.
Pearls are associated with the 30th wedding anniversary but I think this necklace would make a wonderful accessory for a bride with a vintage themed wedding. Pearls are also the birthstone for June. Sunstone has yet to make it onto any of these lists which is a shame as its a lovely gem.
