A hand embroidered wool felt brooch with a whimsical design of flowers and a little pink butterfly fluttering overhead. I've used a variety of stitches to embroider each part. There is a spidery coral coloured flower in pistil stitch with french knots in the centre and running stitch stem, a patch of tiny blue flowers in stab stitch with long stitch stems and white flowers with lazy daisy petals. The butterfly is stitched with dark pink lazy daisy wings. All of this has been stitched onto a piece of dark grey felt and backed onto a piece of thick wool felt to make the brooch sturdy and strong. The felt I use is 100% wool. A silver coloured brooch back has been securely attached.

All of my brooches come attached to a decorative card as you can see in the last photo.
