Item details

A charming and unusual coffee table made from the base of an antique upholstered foot stool. The top is made from four unusually shaped wooden sections, that have been reclaimed from old office desks. They are beautifully made from walnut, and have been attached together to form an elegant shaped top. The highest rectangular areas have been filled with lovely little wooden game pawns, to form a patterned flat surface to rest drinks on. The remaining areas are handy little sections to store lots of bits and bobs!
The frame and top section have been painted a beautiful deep purple, with a durable satin gloss, and some of the partition details have been painted gold, to enhance the existing shapes.
The legs have been sanded back and varnished to create a smooth finish. Please note, three of the formers that sit either side of the legs are no longer in place, but I don't think this is particularly detrimental to the table overall.
Please ask for a quote if you would like this item shipped abroad. Alternatively collection by hand is welcome.
