I love experimenting with natural dyes and eco printing and I enjoy incorporating the fabrics I create this way into my work. Hand embroidery is a time consuming process but it is also a very meditative and thoughtful way to work.

Full description
Using naturally dyed fabrics and threads, found natural objects and hand embroidery I create textile art works exploring our environment. This piece is inspired by beautiful blue skies and our desire to fly away into them. The embroidered textile incorporates a 'hanging twig' and can be hung directly on to a wall with a small nail or you could mount it in a box frame. The piece measures approximately 23 cm x 43 cm. The artwork will be sent out carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and in a padded envelope to protect it.
