I love the sound of a blackbird on a crisp winters evening, and this brooch is just a little reminder.
At approx 6cm long this cheeky bird brooch is handmade from earthenware clay, painted with black underglaze, and finished with a shiny clear glaze.
I then fashion a pair of wiry legs to complete the piece.
This brooch comes mounted on a traditional luggage tagwith a metal pin on the back.
