Full description
A hand knitted tweed hot water bottle cover in watery seaside colours.
The body of the hottie is knitted in a tweed stitch, using three colours:
Slate blue
Duck egg blue
Spring green.
This stitch gives a wonderful texture.
The neck and bottom of the cover are knitted in a rib stitch using the slate blue coloured yarn, which ensures a good snug fit but with plenty of ease when filling is required.
I have crocheted a flower for the front using all three colours, with green in the centre, a circle of duck egg blue, and finished with an outer ring of slate blue.
The back opens using an envelope style opening/closure, also finished in slate blue coloured rib.
