Closing for my Christmas break 4pm 17th December. Last date for taking commissions and hallmarked pieces 3rd December. Once the order book is full, made to order items might not be available to purchase again until the new year. To avoid disappointment, please do order ASAP for Christmas presents.
All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.
Thank you very much for your support.
Inspired by the cratered surface of the moon. The shimmery silver of the moon from a far lends itself very well to shiny sterling silver jewellery.

Solid round recycled sterling silver wire has been laid down onto a concrete surface and a mallet bashing against the silver to create a texture reminsicent of the cratered moon surface. Scraps of recycled 9ct yellow gold had been melted together to create small gold balls. The gold balls soldered onto the bangle. To finish the bangle had been oxidised and polished over to leave the black oxidised surface in the crevices and the higher surface a high shine.
