These hour glass shaped glass vases have been hand painted with specialist, water based glass paints which are dishwasher proof up to 40 degrees, alternatively, you can hand wash as we prefer to do.

Our painted glassware is always painted from scratch, we don't use stencils or templates. There are 3 designs to choose from including poppies, daffodils and iris along with foliage, leaves, tendrils and grape hyacinths in tones of blue and purple. We have finished each vase at the collar with either silver or gold leaves and tendrils. Each vase is signed 'Pud' 'which is the artist's nickname and measure approximately 25cm high x 12.5cm in diamter.

The vases can be personalised at no extra charge and are offered with free UK postage via Hermes 2-3 day service.

Welcome to our Folksy shop! We are a husband and wife team working in a variety of different materials to create unique pieces for home and family. We offer a range of different gifts from simple birthday suncatchers, to metal garden ornaments and sculptures and we always keen to work with a new material. We recycle as much as we can and often use good quality recycled packing for dispatch.

Glass is a beautiful material to work with, it responds so well to being painted and these vases make the ideal Christmas gift. We have painted each design as if the flowers are growing up around the base of the vase.
