Tea cups and coffee mugs are an important part of our every day lives. We all have a favourite drink and a favourite cup and sometimes different cups depending on our mood!
With this cup I wanted a cosy comfortable cup and round bodied cups are comforting to hold . This cup went into the kiln with a perfectly round rim and after a jolly good firing came out with a unique and wonky rim , which I feel doesn't detract from its beauty but enhances it !

Full description
Handmade pottery terracotta cup with aqua blue and cream speckled glaze . Selling as a second due to the wonky rim which doesn't alter it's function but adds a home made quirkiness!
Height 8 cm
Diameter 9 cm at the widest
This cup was handthrown in terracotta clay . Once trimmed the hand pulled handle was added and it was bisque fired. It was then glazed and re fired in our electric kiln .
