I have Shelly Down's book " My Felt Doll ", I love her patterns! I used her mermaid pattern to inspire my own character, Sabrina.

Handmade felt Gingermelon mermaid doll.
Meet Sabrina! She has been made using a pattern taken from " My Felt Doll " by Shelly Down, for further information visit www.gingermelon.etsy.com.
This doll, her clothes, and accessories have all been entirely hand sewn.
She measures 32cm / 12.5 inches from head to tail!
Sabrina has been created using wool blend felt and cotton thread. Sequins and seed beads have been used to add details to her tail.
Her hair has been created using a variety of double knit yarns. The hair has been firmly glued and stitched into place. Her hair is completed with a felt flower hair clip.
Although safety eyes have been used and she has been stuffed using CE marked toy stuffing this doll is not recommended for children under 4 years old, she is suitable for gentle play by older children. This doll has been created as an heirloom or decorative piece.
Due to my dolls being individually made they may vary slightly from the photos.
