Full description
Appliqued and embroidered leaves and a raised embroidery leaf eating beetle on a palish blue felt background. I have used Cretan stitch on the leaves, which i have then couched with different coloured thread to give a textured effect. The wooden hoop measures about 11cms - 4.50 inches in diameter and the beetle itself is 2.50 cms or 1 inch .I have used wool and viscose felt and Anchor embroidery thread. The reverse of the hoop has a felt backing to neaten it all off - that's it !
