Full description
Owl Moon Mandala – 17.5cm (7") round plus yarn hanging loop, edging and danglers with handmade, painted paper beads - (Overall length approx 70cm). I printed the owl design onto fabric with a lino print that i made, then painted it with fabric paints, outlined it in silver, then stitched in place. The background is a painted fabric (stiffened on the back to hold its shape). The background depicts a moon with a spiral detail in embossed metal (softened drinks can). Everything is secured in place with machine stitching. The mixed yarns and stitch colour are added to tone or compliment the finished piece
