I love Swedish folk art and mid century design. The image/pattern on these coasters started as sketches I made inspired by both these design sources. Once I'm happy with a sketch I usually cut it from paper by hand, then complete the image in Photoshop. I've also used the Dala horse, bird and floral images on hand-pulled screen prints, soon to be on sale in my Folksy shop!

'Mid Century Coasters'
Set of 4 melamine, cork-backed coasters inspired by mid century design and Swedish folk art.
They come wrapped in a belly-band (photo 2), designed to compliment the image/pattern on the coasters. Making them both practical and/or a beautiful gift.
