Welcome to Diane Frances Designs. I hand make a wide range of items. Some of my items are made from recycled fabrics and I recycle packaging whenever possible. I aim to post by the next working day using Royal Mail, second class postage.
My profits are used to buy fabrics to make dresses and shorts for the charity Dress a Girl Around the World, dressagirlaroundtheworld.co.uk and sanitary pads for the charity the Pachamama Project, the pachamamaproject@outlook.com.

This one of a kind, repurposed denim apron with one large and one small pocket would be ideal for a gardener, crafter, artist or a bbq The well loved, freshly washed denim comes mainly from a pair of Wrangler jeans and has been decoratively patched and mended by hand with embroidery thread that matches the original stitching on the jeans. The apron is also decorated with four fabric appliqué feathers/leaves sewn to the denim both by machine and by hand. The apron is backed with the same fabric as the feathers. The apron is secured around the waist by means of a repurposed jeans waistband which has the original metal button and buttonhole and belt loops. There are two more loops next to the pocket...handy for hanging things from.
The apron measures approximately 29cm long, 31cm at the waist and 38cm at the lower edge. The waistband will fit a waist up to approximately 80cm. Using a belt or sash in the belt loops would allow for adjustment on the waist size.
