Full description

I have added short rods of pink and brown enamel to the black background coat then scrolled through them to make a unique, random pattern. The black has been laid down on a base of several layers of white enamel that build up the domed shape of the brooch. The white may be seen at the edges of the black coat.

A dimple just left of the centre of the oval shows where the point of the scrolling tool first made contact with the brooch.

The brooch measures 18mm by 12mm. It is mounted on a simple catch, soldered to the copper base.
