A tiny bird with a tail as long as his body. Dusty pink with black and white stripy wings and tail. He is architecturally minded. Creating sphrical nests from feathers and spiders silk. With a final coat of lichen.

Full description
This Necklace is made by collaging old tins that I collect. Which means that each one is individual. I have a large collection of tins and sift through them all to find the right colours. I try and pick colours as close as possible to the bird. In this case a Long tailed Tit, with dusty pink cheeks and black strips with a dirty white body. Each piece is cut out with my piercing saw and filed so it fits properly.
The centre is walnut wood, with a silver backing, which the tins are riveted to.
The chain and clasp are also silver. And I have handmade the s shaped clasp.
The necklace comes in a recycled grey jewellery box with my name on it. And a tag with information on the bird.
