SALE previously £12.50.
A spectacles or glasses case, or pouch, in pale apple green, hand-stitched from hand dyed vintage linen and lace and vintage printed fabric.
A portion of a vintage tray cloth has been hand dyed in pale apple green. The ladder stitch hem, with the original crochet lace still attached, has been folded down and enhanced by a row of hand embroidery. A circular embroidered motif, stitched in matching and toning hand-dyed wool and cotton thread has been worked in the centre of the case.
The embroidered front panel has been backed with fusible interfacing. The back of the case is a white on green printed cotton fabric, backed with fusible intifterfacing. The case is lined with a floral print of pink flowers on green, cotton fabric, also backed with iron-on interfacing to provide some protection for your spectacles. The edge of the cover has been finished by hand-stitching in blanket stitch using green crochet cotton. The case closes with a button-hole stitch loop over a white button.
