Full description
Inspired by a stay in the Devon countryside last year, and in the same style as my Little Street, I’ve created two holiday houses stitched with crewel wool onto linen. The flower garden is sunny and bright, perfect for a weekend away. A cheeky giant flower grows in the garden. The embroidery is framed in an embroidery hoop.
The embroidery is stitched using 100% Appleton Wool, which was also used by William Morris! It is dyed and spun in England. The wool creates a lovely texture when stitched, with a soft sheen and a raised surface to the stitches.
The width of the piece is approx 6” / 16cm.
Inspired by a lovely family holiday.
Each of my embroidery pieces are unique, due to the hand stitching and the natural textures of the wool. I love designing and creating each piece.
The hoop art wall decoration is securely wrapped in tissue before posting in a sturdy envelope. Postage to UK addresses is free. Orders will be posted within 24 hours of purchase during December.
