MATERIALS - I use only high-quality silver bullion, all my jewellery is made from 100% recycled Sterling Silver.

I grew up within a family environment of three generations of needlewomen and at an early age became fascinated with my Grandmother’s talents! My love of textiles and haberdashery stem from the pleasure of rooting through a button box of brightly coloured ‘treasures’, the tangled skeins of embroidery threads and the collections of innumerable jewel-coloured reels of cotton, which is what these earrings are inspired by.

Full description
Cotton reel earring drops, featuring a unique fish hook earring wire with a needle eye detail.
Completely handmade in my studio in York from sterling silver and hallmarked at The Sheffield Assay Office.
These earrings make part of my cotton reel range.
I've made mini cotton reels and soldered a little jump ring to the top from which the ear hooks attach. I've hand-forged one end of the ear hook and made an indent so as to give the impression of a needle. It is a really lovely touch.
As with all of my cotton reel jewellery these earrings (both drops) have been hallmarked in a unique curve to reflect the labelling found on vintage cotton reels.
I can thread in any cotton colour of your choice - just let me know when ordering.
They arrive lovingly packaged in one of my branded boxes, and posted 1st class small parcel post - please get in touch if you prefer an alternative method.
