Silver lace necklace.
Completely handmade in my studio in York.
I use vintage lace from my vintage collections for my lace range which has been sourced over the years at French brocantes.
This piece is made with 3 textured silver circles descending in size to create a lovely fluid drop necklace.
Using my rolling mill to impress the lace fabric onto silver sheet I then use a disc cutter to hand punch circles before doming to give a concave shape, filing and lots of emery.
I solder the necklace together with handmade silver jump rings. And make a length of necklace from sterling silver trace chain.
The chain measures 18".
Gorgeous and eye-catching, the fabric texture and elegant drop design make for a beautiful contemporary necklace.
Please note, each necklace will differ due to the nature of the lace and different sections that I cut out.
The necklace comes gift packaged in one of my lovely branded jewellery boxes, complete with all the trimmings.
