Full description
A super soft and lightweight nuno felted scarf that drapes beautifully around the neck. It is perfect for both summer and winter wear and would look fabulous teamed up with any outfit. The scarf is made using a nuno felting process whereby a very fine layer of woollen fibres are laid over both sides of a silk chiffon fabric and manipulated to cause the wool to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The strength of the scarf is provided by the underlying silk allowing the woollen layers to be very fine. The scarf is felted on both sides.
The resulting scarf measures approximately 122cm (48") x 40cm (16") and will arrive wrapped in pretty floral tissue paper making it an ideal gift. Perfect as a 7th wedding anniversary "woollen" gift or any other occasion. Full washing instructions and a short description of the nuno felting process are included.
Hand wash in warm water.
