This lovely vintage dead stock fabric was a bit of a find! I adore the cream and tan colour scheme with the River Seine print adding to that retro feel.
I designed this shirt in a typical 60s style, a classic back fastening, glorious amber buttons, and that preppy 60s Peter Pan collar and puffy sleeves. The tucks provide that fitted look.. so it will sit smoothly when tucked in..
The cotton itself was lovely to work with.. so lovely in every sense and perfect for summer!

Full description
This lovely 60s blouse is made from vintage dead-stock fabric.It is a lightweight, slightly course weave cotton with a cream background with a scenic print of the River Seine in tan colours. It has a Peter Pan collar and short 'Leg of Mutton' sleeves which are gathered at the shoulder and with tucks at the bottom to draw them in.The blouse itself has 6 shaped tucks to shape for the waist and hips so it will sit smooth when tucked into a skirt and trousers. It is back fastening, finished with vintage dead-stock amber coloured buttons.
MEASUREMENTS:
Calle Modista uses traditional UK sizing and these can be smaller than some high street sizes.
