An A3 size linocut/screen-print entitled 'Donkeys Disturbed By A Meteor Shower'.
Dark blue and light green System 3 inks on off-white 250gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 40, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
This image was the first of my donkey-related prints, created as a small one-colour linocut print ten years ago. It set me off on a journey with my donkeys, and it felt appropriate to create a new version of the print to mark the occasion (alongside a retrospective exhibition at the Oriel Mostyn in Llandudno, North Wales entitled 'Entering Donkey World'- https://www.mostyn.org/exhibition/james-green).
The print image measures H34xW23.5cm.
The paper measures H42xW29.7cm.
Printed by myself at Sheffield Print Club, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
