Proseprints is keen to be green, our printed greeting cards are on recycled paper, with bio-degradable cellos, we use paper based packaging and are introducing non-plastic packaging for protecting artwork. We also support a local conservation charity, donating money from the sales of our cards and artwork.
Slow Worms are often mistaken for snakes but they are as the title says, legless lizards. They have eye lids and can blink unlike snakes. Last Spring we were lucky enough to see one swimming in our fish pond, we carefully fished it out thinking it had fallen in my accident only to find out on the internet that they do sometimes take a dip. Like frogs they enjoy a tasty meal of slugs and are a real asset to keen gardeners.
We have linked up with a local environmental charity - Torrington Commons Conservators - and donate £5 from the sale of every print.

Full description
Legless Lizard depicts a Slow Worm. It is a hand painted monoprint from a lino block and printed on a hand press. The background is in blue, green and yellow and speckled with red and orange. The Slow Worm is multi-coloured in warm oranges and blues. The whole print has a textured feel to capture the look of the lizard's skin.
It is signed and titled in pencil by the artist.
The print is supplied in a textured cream mount.
It is a variable edition; every hand painted print is unique.
Mount size: to fit a frame measuring 8 by 8 inches.
Printed on Fabriano paper using water based inks.
Colour fixed using a waterbased craft spray.
The colour may vary slightly from the image.
