Full description
Measures 14.5 cm wide and 10.5 cm tall.
This Badger & Bluebell stained glass light catcher has been hand painted and hand crafted using traditional techniques and materials. The detailed image of the badger has been painted onto antique style clear glass and the image of the bluebells painted onto antique style blue glass. The glass pieces are fired in a kiln at high temperature fusing the paint and glass together making the image permanent and enduring.
Once the firing process is complete the glass pieces are joined together with copper foil and solder, and finished with a bronze patina. There is a chain attached ready for hanging the light catcher in a window or in front of any bright, light surface.
