Full description
Set of two matching Harris Tweed zipper pouches: Tartan weave in shades of blue, dusky blue, navy and midnight, with turquoise and purple overcheck. Both purses have navy blue zips and black leather zip pulls, and dusky blue cotton lining.
The larger pouch is padded and can be used as a makeup bag, a pencil case, or a clutch for a night out. The small pouch can be used as a large coin purse, small makeup bag or gadget pouch. The set would make an ideal gift set, e.g. bridesmaid gift.
The pouches carry the Harris Tweed label which authenticates the fabric as pure new wool, hand woven in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
Dimensions of the large pouch: approximately 23cm (9") wide x 13cm (5") high.
The coin purse measures approx 14cm (5.5") wide x 11cm (4.25") high.
The larger clutch purse can be made up with a water-resistant lining instead of cotton if you request it. I have in stock navy blue or mid blue that would tone well with the tweed. Just send me a note when you place your order.
Fabric care: The exterior fabric is pure new wool which is dirt resistant. The exterior fabric can be gently sponged, or the pouch can be gently hand washed in warm soapy water. They should not be tumble dried or dried at high temperature as this may cause the wool to shrink.
Please note that, depending on the cut of the fabric, pattern placement will vary.
