Morecambe in Lancashire, vintage tea towel purse, pouch or makeup bag.
Who hasn’t wanted to see a button with the immortal words “Eric Morecambe” at some time in their life? Well, today's the day!
This soft little vintage tea towel bag, has a picture of Morecambe bay on one side and Sunderland point on the other. It’s a typical seaside illustration, bright, breezy, and fun.
It would make a great Man purse, make up bag, or a little storage pouch for mementos and keepsakes.
The fabric has been stitched onto cotton to give it some strength.
It measures 16 cm wide.
It measures 16 cm long.
There is a turquoise zip opening of 16 cm.
A large metal covered button on the front has the words Eric Morecambe on it.
There is a hook for twirling around your finger, or for hanging up somewhere special as an illustration in its own right.
There is a red and white patterned lining.
The pouch is finished off with my own embroidered label.
