Full description

A Norfolk terrier card, ideal for dog lovers, this is an original linocut printed card.

This lovely little dog was called biscuit and she was my parents dog. After creating my design from a photograph I then transferred in to linoleum and carved it out. I then printed my cards by hand without a printing press, using a wooden spoon for burnishing to transfer the ink to the card.

I have used Caligo safe wash ink which is a non toxic oil based ink and good quality, acid free, recycled card stock with matching envelope.

These are NOT digitally printed cards.

The process of printing by hand makes each one an original piece of artwork, no two are exactly the same - I think that makes them pretty special!

I have printed my makers mark stamp on the back of the card.

These cards look lovely framed after the event.

Card size is 5" x 7" and blank inside.

Your card will be placed in a cellophane bag and posted Royal mail, 1st class service in a hard backed envelope for protection.
