This gorgeous little piece really caught my eye, with its lovely curvy Queen Anne style legs and delightful brass handle, it cried out to be re-loved. So as with all of my renovations, I had a little think and then decided on the perfect finish;using my favourite Annie Sloan products of course to ensure the best results!
So refreshed and renewed, this beautiful little piece was born and I hope you agree offers an elegant and delightful appeal.

Full description
This very pretty little vintage Queen Anne style bedside cabinet has been carefully upcycled using Annie Sloan chalk paint and waxes. To add a little extra flair, I have decoupaged the cabinet door and the inside shelf with a very delicate floral bird design, which I have then crackle glazed. The Crackle glaze has added an aged quality, giving the colour of the design depth and interest. The piece itself has been painted in a very soft grey (Annie Sloan Paris Grey), with a clear wax finish to add protection and a subtle sheen. The inside has also been painted, this time with a complimentary soft pink; so very feminine!
As for the pretty little handle, well, I simply buffed the original brass back to a lovely shine, which has complimented the overall look perfectly.
This lovely little piece would look great as a bedside, or perhaps an occasional table, with the addition of storage in the most glamorous way!
