Handmade silver jewellery, crafted slowly in Shropshire using recycled materials. Orders are carefully made and packaged with sustainability and long-term care in mind.
This sterling silver pendant has been inspired by Welsh lovespoons. Lovespoons are ornate wooden spoons which a young man would have traditionally carved and given to a women he loved, the symbols shown had different meanings such as love, wealth, good luck and togetherness. This handmade pendant features a heart which means love, a twisted stem which symbolises togetherness.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This sterling silver heart pendant measures 15mm wide and 32mm high and comes on an 16, 18 or 20 inch sterling silver curb chain. It is sent in either a branded pouch or gift box.
How was it made?
This pendant is made from 1mm sterling silver sheet and 1.3mm diameter wire. The piece of wire is twisted before being flattened using a hammer, a heart is cut out of the silver sheet and then etched before the two pieces are soldered together. The edges are then smoothed using files and emery paper, once this is done I carefully give the heart it's shape using a punch and hammer. It's then oxidised to highlight Mum before being polished and attached to a chain.
