I loved painting this series of British birds, and tried to capture the character of each one in watercolour.
I hope you like them. A selection of these square cards might make an ideal gift for fellow bird-lovers and gardeners.

I was inspired to paint a jay as one of my series of UK garden birds, as we'd had a family of these strutting, striking birds in my garden last year.
The original painting was done in watercolour (see photo) and used to make a calendar as a present for my family and friends. I decided to design some blank greetings cards using the same paintings.
The 300 gsm card is 148 mm x 148 mm and blank inside for your own message. A white laid envelope is provided.
The bird's name and Latin name is given alongside the painting.
On the reverse of the card, three colours have been selected from the bird and are featured.
Your card will be carefully packaged in a cello bag and posted to you in a sturdy board back envelope.
