Full description
A beautiful bird linocut card, hand printed, limited small edition, blue tit card, ideal for any bird lover.
After creating my design from a photo reference I then transferred it to linoleum and carved it by hand. I then printed by hand without a printing press using a wooden spoon as a baren to transfer the ink to the paper.
I have used Caligo safe wash ink which is a non toxic oil based ink and good quality recycled, acid free card stock.
This is not a digital print. The process of printing by hand makes every print a unique piece of original artwork, no two are exactly the same.
This print was actually taken from a layer of a 4 colour reduction print, this means that once they are sold - that's it! I can not create any more as the printing block has now been destroyed. There were only 11 printed on this white card.
This card would look fabulous framed after the event - remember this is an original fine art print!

I have printed my own makers mark stamp on the back of the card.
Your card will be placed in a cello bag, posted 1st class Royal Mail in a hard backed envelope.
