As a child I collected seashells. I visited Italy with my grandparents every year and stayed with Italian friends in Marina di Massa. I would go to the beach and also visit a sea shell shop and collect the shells.
I remember a friend of my grandparents returning from the USA with a box full of shells for me.
I still have my collection of sea shells today. It reminds me of fond childhood memories playing in the sand and making castles.
