I love fashion history, the look of the Edwardian circus costumes and mixed media art so I came up with an idea of making little keepsake dolls.
This one of a kind little lady is made up from many components.
She measures approx 6" from head to toe. Her body is made of a small glass bottle which has a layer of rainbow glitter dotted about inside.
Her arm and limbs which move about, are made from a mix of glass crystal beds and bugle beads in a blue/purple shade.
To go with the bead colour theme I have added a pink net skirt with sparkly belt and a glorious pink ruffle. On top of her head, made of a wooden bead, is a very regal looking antique gold coloured crown. Although I have made he to hang up, she can be arranged to sit on a shelf too
This is an ideal gift for a fashion history fan, just a little something to give to friend to let them know you are thinking of them, or maybe you'd like it for yourself.
I shall post this lovely lady in a box and oodles of bubble wrap.
