Trying out a new pattern, loved this piece of fabric and it just so suits this style of purse. I wanted to design something that had more potential uses than just holding small change.

Full description
This fun little purse is created from a hard wearing cotton fabric in a frond and red flower design in shades of green, cream and red on a black background. The boxy bottom of the purse allows it to stand up on its own and though probably too large to use as a coin purse would make a great container for your treasures or attach a chain to the clasp and use it as a mini handbag.
The silver kiss clasp is attached to the purse with a mid green embroidery thread and the cotton lining follows the floral theme with petunia type flowers and leaves in shades of green, salmon and pink on a cream cotton background. Fleece interfacing gives this purse structure and softness to the touch.
I have embroidered my initial and year of creation within the lining so you know that this is an original from Made in the Temple.
