Full description
A delightfully quirky gift set which consists of a toiletry bag, a cosmetic bag and a small coin purse. The bags are all decorated with applique Russian dolls and they all stack inside each other just like Russian dolls.
The bags are all made from good quality cream fabric. The fabrics used to make the Russian dolls are a matching blue fabric and white fabric, each with the same pretty floral print pattern in shades of pink, green and white with blue polka dots. The dolls' faces are made from flesh coloured felt and lovingly hand-embroidered. The two larger dolls have brown velvet hair and sequin eyes, whereas the smallest doll has embroidered hair and eyes. Each bag or purse has a cream zip fastening and is fully lined with water-resistant fabric in a deep pink colour with a pattern of white water droplets.
Each item is spacious and has a boxed base to give plenty of storage room inside. The approximate measurements are:
Toiletry bag: 12" (30cm) wide, 9" (23cm) high, 4" (10cm) across the base.
Cosmetic bag: 10" (25cm) wide, 5.5" (14cm) high, 2" (5cm) across the base.
Coin purse: 4.5" (12cm) wide, 3" (8cm) high, 1" (2.5cm) across the base.
These stacking Russian doll bags are decorative as well as practical. I loved the idea of opening a Russian doll toiletry bag to find a cosmetic bag inside with a purse inside that. I think they would make a beautiful, unusual and surprising gift.
