I like to use recycled textiles and found objects and enjoy creating something new out of something old, discarded and abandoned. The bric-a-brac of life made into new artworks, the preservation of a previous 'life' and the creation of a new memory.

Bookmark/Door Hanger
An old woollen blanket has been used as the backing for this hand embroidered piece which can be used as a lovely soft bookmark or hung from a door handle.
Part of a vintage linen traycloth has been embellished with hand stitch and buttons, and string for hanging which is easily removable if preferred,
