Magellanic Penguin... I was watching this program on the BBC about big cats the other night. In Patagonia pumas descend on nesting penguins and eat them. Circle of life and all that jazz but very very sad to watch. I love penguins and it seems evolution has dealt them a hard blow in that aspect, being that they cannot fly away. The puma picks them off easily and quickly. Steve asked me why I always paint penguins drinking martinis. I said its because they look like James Bond. He said fair enough...
I have used metallic gold paint that sparkles and glitters when you catch it in the light... A bit of beach bling.
I have been painting again recently, using the driftwood I find whilst beach combing as my canvas. Please check out my shop to see my sea glass jewellery designs.
The driftwood is 10 inches x 6 inches at widest part. It hangs from a snazzy bit of stainless steel chain (will not rust or tarnish - suitable for bathroom) that you can simply pop on a nail to hang.
