Full description
To make this pendant I built up a base of several layers of clear enamel on the copper shape. I then fired a layer of blue over this base.The copper beneath can be seen in tones of golden brow that shimmer in the light that strikes the pendant. I then added two pieces of red enamel rod and when the piece was at red hot in the kiln I disturbed the surface with a steel point to male the unique random pattern.
The pendant measures 15mm in diameter. It is mounted on a 45cm silver plated curb chain that fastens with a simple bolt ring.
