This beautiful lace design was destined to become chains of fairy lights. They've been such favourites for the last few years, so I'm delighted to finally list some in this online shop. In the winter months this design can be viewed as snowflakes, but I like to think that in summer they lend themselves to a retro sunflower design. The lace motif features on one side of the lights, on the rear is a simple texture of merino wool and shimmering bamboo. The lights can be hung in either direction depending on the preferred side to be shown. Each lace snowflake is meticulously cut out and through the process of wet felting, the merino wool fibres are drawn through the lace, bonding to create a single sheet of tactile fabric, which is then cut and mounted onto each of the 20 warm white LED bulbs.

By day the design is subtle, but when illuminated the lace feature is highlighted.

The felted discs are hot glued around each bulb. The LED bulbs produce no heat and the chain is battery operated, so can be safely displayed anywhere. The clear chain is just over 2m in length with approximately 8cm between lights and a distance of 30cm to a compact clear battery compartment. They require 2xAA batteries (included). Each disc is 5cm in diameter.

The lights are presented in a brown ribbed Kraft box with layers of natural tissue paper. This will be double boxed for posting and sent First Class, requiring a signature upon delivery.
