Full description
This scarf is super soft and lightweight and has been made using merino wool nuno felted onto silk chiffon. A fine layer of merino wool fibres in a rainbow blend of colours has been nuno felted to both sides of a yellow silk chiffon base material. The nuno felting process results in the woollen fibres migrating through the silk and binding with it.
The resulting scarf is designed to drape around the neck and measures approximately 122cm x 36cm (48" x 14.2"). Cool in summer yet warm in winter this scarf would make a lovely addition to any outfit. The scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with a label describing the felting process and full washing instructions. An upgrade is available as a separate listing in my shop allowing it to be packaged in a kraft card window presentation box making it an ideal gift.
