Full description
A gorgeously soft and lightweight scarf. This scarf has been made using the nuno felting process. A fine layer of merino wool fibres, in a rainbow blend of colours, has been laid over both sides of a pink silk chiffon base fabric and nuno felted. This process causes the fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it creating a soft, lightweight yet warm fabric.
The resulting scarf is designed to drape around the neck and measures approximately 122cm x 38cm (48" x 15"). Cool in summer yet warm in winter this scarf would make a lovely addition to any outfit. The scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with a label describing the felting process and full washing instructions. An upgrade is available as a separate listing in my shop allowing it to be packaged in a kraft card window presentation box making it an ideal gift.
