Full description
I have laid a coat of black enamel over a base of clear enamel built up on the copper dish. After firing that coat I have scattered rings of white and purple enamel powder around the centre. When the dish was at red hot, in the kiln I disturbed the surface of the enamel with a steel point to make the unique starburst patterning that decorates the dish.
The dish measures 83mm in diameter and is about 6mm deep. It would be suitable for a dressing table tray or to set off a flower display or table centrepiece.
Your dish will be sent by Royal Mail, first class, signed for.
