Full description
This little embroidery shows a peaceful winter scene of a traditional white cottage nestled in a snowy landscape.
It is entirely hand embroidered on a felt background. The stars are tiny french knots and the moon is an iridescent white sequin surrounded by tiny stitches.
The piece is framed in a 3" (7.5cm) wooden embroidery hoop which I have painted white with several coats of acrylic paint. A loop of white grosgrain ribbon is attached to the tightening mechanism of the hoop to allow easy display of the piece. You could even hang it on your Christmas tree as an extra special heirloom ornament.
The hoop is neatly finished with a circle of white felt to the rear.
As each scene is made by hand, each one is unique. The item you receive will be the item in the photographs.
The embroidery will be sent to you in a white gift box, lined with blue felt to match the work. The box measures approx 10.5 x 10.5 x 2.0cm.
I aim to post all orders within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment. All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail First Class Large Letter service. I always obtain proof of postage.
