Full description
This brooch measures 50mm in diameter. It is mounted on a 26mm brooch bar, soldered to the copper disc. The pin is secured with a rolling catch.
I made the brooch by building up several layers of clear enamel on the copper basel. I then added a layer of green enamel. In places the copper may be seen through the green enamel , giving tones of golden brown to the brooch. I then scattered white and gold enamel in a line across the green and added two rods of brown enamel. I drew a steel tip through the surface when the piece was at red hot in the kiln creating the pattern you see.
Your brooch will be sent in a soft cloth drawstring bag.
For UK delivery I use Royal Mail, first class, signed for. European delivery is by international signed for. If you prefer a different delivery service please contact me.
