Over several coats of clear enamel built on the triangular copper shape I have added rods of brown enamel and scatterings of white, yellow and pink enamel powder. When the piece reached red hot in the kiln I drew through the surface with a steel point to create the unique, random, scrolled pattern. In some lights the copper beneath may be seen through the clear enamel, in tones of golden-brown.
The brooch measures 67mm by 30mm at its longest and widest. It is mounted on a 26mm brooch bar, soldered to the copper base. The pin secures with a rotating catch.
Your brooch will be sent in a soft cloth drawstring bag, by Royal Mail tracked48
If you have any difficulty with ordering then please contact me through folksy to sort it out.
