Item details

An original linoprint designed and created by Snow and Crow, Limited edition of 7. Actual image measures 5.5 x 7.5 inches. The print will fit into any standard 10 x 12 inch frame. Print is signed and numbered by the artist. Paper is distressed Somerset velvet which is high quality acid free for long life. The inks are Caligo relief inks. The print will be sent safely flat packed with its own backing board, a contrasting mount(see photo) and in a cello bag.

Hawthorn is a local National Trust coastal walk. Living in the North east for most of my life I was so pleased to discover such a beautiful area just on my doorstep. I deliberately aged the paper to give it a 50's style. I wanted to create something nostalgic looking but without being too maudling. It reminds me of an old book illustration which for some unknown reason gives me great comfort. The picture comes with it's own deep brown mount which sets off the folk art style perfectly. I've shown a picture of it framed to simply show what a wonderful little print this is. I feel it wouldn't look out of place in either a modern home or country cottage, anywhere in fact.
