Full description
This is Phyllis, an autumnal faerie. Her name means 'leafy foliage, green bough'.
Phyllis has been hand-embroidered on a background of petrol-blue merino wool felt. She is wearing an olive green dress with a forest green underskirt and tiny russet shoes. Her underskirt is trimmed with a row of russet sequins and she carries a plum heart balloon. Her long auburn hair is embellished with russet sequins. Her dress is decorated with dozens of tiny, hand-embroidered french knots in olive green and finished with pale gold sequins. Tiny gold and russet sequins sparkle in the sky all around her.
Phyllis is framed in a custom-painted, green-gold wooden box frame with overall dimensions 19.3cm (width) x 19.3cm (height) x 3.4cm (depth). The aperture is approximately 15.2cm wide by 15.2cm high. The frame is glazed (although the photographs have been taken with the glass removed to prevent glare or reflections).
Estelle will be posted to you carefully wrapped in tissue paper and safely stowed in a cardboard box with lots of padding to keep her safe in transit. I aim to post all orders within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment. All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail Second Class Signed For service. All orders to European countries listed in posting information will be sent via Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed service.
