My cat! I'm very much a cat-person, and my cat Otto has had a big impact on my life and work. Being a black and white cat too, he seems quite well suited to the graphic nature of linocut too.

Full description
This is a 2-colour linocut / screen-print entitled 'Otto No.3'.
Otto is my cat. The first ever linocut print I made was of him, back in 2002, and this set me on the path to being a printmaker. I'm very grateful to him, so I felt the urge to create a portrait of him. I had also created a smaller print called 'Otto Sleeping' (now sold out), but this time he is awake and feeling regal!
Dark pink and midnight blue System 3 inks on off-white 250gsm acid-free Seawhite paper. From an edition of 50, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print image measures H33.5xW23cm.
The paper measures H42xW28.7cm.
Printed by myself at Sheffield Print Club, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
